Endeavor to change the way you look at things. Always look at the bright side. The mind might drag  you to think about negativity and difficulties don’t let it. Look at the good and positive side of every situation.

Do your best to stay detached, when things do not proceed as intended and desired. Detachment will help you stay calm and control your moods and reactions. Detachment is not in difference it is the acceptance of the good and the bad and staying balanced.

Express your appreciation tell the partner, family member or friend what you came up with. It will brighten his or her day, and as his or her face lights up with a big smile you’ll feel happier too because emotions are contagious.

Each day do something good for yourself. It can be something small , such buying a book, eating something you love, watching your favorite program on TV, going to a movie, or just having a stroll on the beach.

Associate with happy people, and try to learn from them to be happy. Remember, happiness is contagious.

Watch your Thoughts:

Ø  Whenever you catch yourself thinking negative thoughts, start thinking of pleasant things.
Ø  Don’t watch the news more than 30 minutes in a day. It’s depressing, if something important happens you’ll know.
Ø  Each day, Devote some time to reading a few pages of an inspiring book or article.
Ø  Do not envy people who are happy on the contrary, be happy for their happiness.
Ø  Listen to relaxing, uplifting music.
Ø  Smile more often.
Ø  Think about solution, not about problems.
Ø  Learn something from everyone you meet.
Ø  Watch funny comedies that make you laugh.
Ø  Always look at what you have done and not what you haven’t.
Ø  Each day do at least one act to make others happy.
Ø  Always expect happiness.
Ø  Take more risks without fear of making mistakes.
Ø  Keep your cell phone off the dinner table.
Ø  Never discuss how much money you make.
Ø  Go for a walk every day.
Ø  Make more time to spend with your friends and family.
Ø  Remove all stressful people and situation from your life.
Ø  Travel more, this doesn’t always cost as much as you think.
Ø  Help others make their dreams come true.
Ø  Anger, jealously and bitterness ruin your life. Be happy for everyone.
Ø  Spend more time doing only things you are passionate about.
Ø  Don’t give it a second time if the person didn’t listen the first.
